Application for Inclusion in Gallery and Gifts Shop (G & G) at ALL THINGS ART

Guidelines to consider before application:

• Applicants will complete this form and bring representative samples or photos of work for the Jury Committee to peruse. 

               The committee will meet once a month on the     4th THURSDAY                                   .

   Applicants will be notified as to the decision of the committee.

With acceptance there is responsibilty for inclusion:

• a membership in OCAC ( levels for membership linked here)          
• a W9 form on file with our treasurer, in the event your sales exceed $600. 

              ATA pays all NYS sales tax.  No checks will be issued without this. Checks are issued at the end of each month.

• an ability to "sit desk" and handle sales in the shop (3 hour blocks, possible 2 times a month TBD)
• active participation in G & G meetings
• submit work "Gallery Ready": calling ahead for drop off/pick up, hanging framed art with witer, protective sleeves on cards and prints

Note:  This is a shop; items are handled.  Your packaging should be designed to protect your work.

• take responsibility to catalog your inventory in our book at front desk with clear prices and your identification
• determine your own pricing and be advised that ATA requires 30% commission on all sales 

                    Ex:  item priced at $100, your check = $70, ATA keeps $30

• keep account of your inventory frequently; if items are removed by you, remove from our inventory book kept at front desk
• maintain the pleasant appearance of the shop by keeping your display fresh by periodic rotation within the shop, and in/out of G & G
• attend/volunteer at some OCAC events, help hang show, and attend openings
• encourage friends/neighbors to attend such events with you
• become part of the “team” of this ALL VOLUNTEER organization, as it is through all our efforts that ATA will survive
