West Lake Schoolhouse

Create an indoor or outdoor sculpture using a stiffening resin. This class is designed to enable anyone to become a sculptor even if they have no experience in the media. This course will cover everything from basic armature to fleshing the figure out to painting and weathering.

About the event

This event is on 2 successive days. June 22 (10am - 4pm) and June 23 (1pm - 4pm)

Explore the use of material with paper and fiber to create individual sculptures that when dried can even be placed outside.

MATERIALS INCLUDED IN $120 COURSE FEE: armature wire, brush, fiber sculpting material, Styrofoam, rubber gloves, foil, fabric, paint and instructional handouts.

Other information:

· If you want an outdoor sculpture, then bring a stone or rock to be used as a base. It should be approx. 5x6 and have a flat side.

· an apron will be helpful

· please bring your lunch, snacks and a beverage
