Onanda Park
On Canandaigua Lake

Seventeen painters opened up their art materials and rendered the views of Onanda Park on the west side of Canandaigua Lake in the Arts Council's 2021 Plein Air Community Paint Out. The weather was perfect and the resulting works were wonderful.
Judi Cermak, President of the Ontario County Arts Council, greeted the artists at 9 am at Crouch Hall, and by the end of the day everyone said how much they enjoyed the day and hoped the Arts Council would organize another Plein Air in 2022, assisted by The Pop Up Artists of the Finger Lakes.
Michele Fernaays and Dave Hewson served as the event's judges. First place and a prize of $100 went to Jan Romeiser of Clifton Springs. Second place and a prize of $75 went to Paul Taylor of Rochester. Third place and a prize of $50 was awarded to Victoria Brzustowicz of Penfield. Nancy Lane and Jacqueline Fegan were awarded a Special Merit and a one-year membership in the Ontario County Arts Council.
